Bring out the big guns with this chilli infused Tequila cocktail. You have to plan ahead with this one but it’s most definitely worth the wait. The TAKE FIVE Lemon Lime accentuates the citrus fruit flavors, whilst other ingredients bring the sweet and the salty and together, they cool down the fire of the Jalapeno infused Tequila. Not for the faint hearted but without doubt, this cocktail will get your party started and have your guests coming back for more.

Spicy Soother

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 x can of TAKE FIVE Lemon Lime
  • 50ml Tequila
  • 25ml Triple Sec
  • 1 large Jalapeno Pepper
  • 10ml Lemon Juice
  • 10ml Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 pinch of Salt
Method:
  1. Pierce the large Jalapeno pepper in 8-10 places then cut it in half lengthways.
  2. Leave the seeds in for extra spice if desired.
  3. Place the pepper in a glass and add the Tequila.
  4. Cover and leave for 24 hours.
  5. Strain and pour the Tequila into a pitcher and add the Triple Sec, Lemon juice, Lime juice, TAKE FIVE Lemon Lime, Honey and the pinch of Salt.
  6. Now stir, then cover and leave in the fridge for 6 hours.
  7. Serve in a short glass either stirred or shaken over ice.
  8. Garnish with a fresh jalapeño and a lime wedge and serve.
